In the heart of Cornate d’Adda (MB), SAVE SpA, a renowned dealer of agricultural machinery, has recently inaugurated its new warehouse, adorned with a state-of-the-art storage system curated by Emaf Industrial Shelving. The installation, which encompasses both second hand and new pallets with the EM100 Giotto industrial pallet racking model, is a tangible example of the commitment of both companies to ensure efficiency and order in logistic processes.
For the section dedicated to second hand pallet racks, attention to detail is evident. Thirty-two beams of imposing dimensions, measuring 5700 x 1000 mm, were employed, paired with 152 longer chains of 2700 mm and 18 shorter chains of 1800 mm. Emaf’s assembly team has skillfully orchestrated the construction of 29 bays, each composed of three levels plus the ground floor, giving life to a storage space capable of accommodating 324 pallets, each with a maximum weight of 500 kg. The gray painting of the second hand components gives the system a modern and clean look, blending seamlessly with the aesthetics of the new warehouse.
Moving on to the section dedicated to new pallet racks, Emaf’s choice of the EM100 Giotto model has proven to be the ideal solution. The galvanized beams and yellow chains not only add a touch of freshness to the warehouse but also testify to the quality and durability of the system. With 18 beams of 6000 x 1000 mm and 160 chains of 2700 mm length, 16 bays were created, each with 5 levels and the ground floor, offering a storage capacity of 288 pallets, also with a maximum capacity of 500 kg each.
Overall, the installation translates into an impressive storage capacity: 612 pallet spaces, for a total weight of 306 tons of material. This configuration not only meets the current needs of SAVE SpA but also projects towards the future, providing a solid and adaptable structure that can grow alongside the company.
